Integrated Tip Cap (ITC): Closure Systems for EZ-fill® Pre-fillable Syringes

Our Integrated Tip Cap has been developed to be the ideal match for EZ-fill® luer lock cone syringes with its twist-off closure system.

It comprises of a rubber component inserted in a rigid plastic cap, screwed onto a luer lock adaptor and then pre-assembled on the EZ-fill® syringe.

ITC systems are manufactured in our plants, with automatic control and assembly in an ISO7 clean room.

ITC Syringe with an Enlarged Inner Cone (EIC): Enhancing Compatibility for Intravenous (IV) Drug Delivery

The ITC syringe with an Enlarged Inner Cone (EIC) is an evolution of Stevanato Group’s Integrated Tip Cap platform, developed to enhance compatibility with commonly used intravenous (IV) drug delivery systems.

By redesigning the inner cone geometry, the EIC option supports a more reliable connection with selected needleless IV connectors, while maintaining the performance, robustness, and usability of the ITC closure system. The design has been verified in line with ISO 11040-4 for prefilled syringes and ISO 80369-7 for small-bore connectors. The syringe has been tested for fluid and air leakage, axial load resistance, unscrewing resistance, and stress cracking. 

The EIC syringe is validated in 1.25mL and 2.25mL formats using existing ITC tip cap formulations. Additional formats can be developed upon request.
