Container closure and device integration testing

Container closure system and drug delivery device integration is critical to ensure reliable performance. Stevanato Group supports customers in evaluating how the primary container, drug product, and delivery device work together, helping identify the most suitable configuration for the intended therapy and use scenario.

Mathematical models are used to replicate the physical phenomena that influence the correlation between injection time and force. Dedicated fixtures then reproduce these conditions and help verify simulation results through testing.

This approach supports the selection of the syringe design, including needle and format, as well as spring force, based on the drug’s physical properties and the desired injection time.
